Speed up your building process by reusing existing steps across different tracks and care flows.

Adding a step to your step library and reuse it

  1. Open the step context menu by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner of the step card

  2. Next, select "Add to library"

  3. Go to another track in the same or another care flow

  4. Click on the Step library symbol in the left sidebar of Awell studio, the Step library opens

  5. You can now drag the step from the library onto the canvas πŸŽ‰

Note: If your step contains data point inputs (e.g. calculation, API call), you will have to remap the data input for this action.

How to modify and remove steps from your library.

Sometimes a step in your library needs a little update before you want to add it to different tracks or you just want to remove it from the library.

  • Click on the Step library symbol in the left sidebar of Awell studio, the Step library opens.

    • To modify a step in the library (won't change the existing steps on the canvas):

Double click on the step you want to modify and the step context menu opens

    • To remove from the library:

Click on the trash can icon next to the step you want to remove from the library

If you first want to know how to create a step you can check out this article. In addition, you can also duplicate steps in your building canvas, we explain this here.
